Neha is based in the NYC area. Her expertise in design branches out to identity systems, publications, announcements, signage and web. She enjoys working with clients on all levels of design, from art direction to production, to deliver clean and effective design solutions.
Designed for the firm’s summer associate outings, the template based invitation incorporated custom illustrations to appeal to a younger audience. Each illustration related to the 15 individual events, playing with scale and incorporating the firm’s broader color palette, for a dynamic and aesthetically pleasing design. Invitations were printed in-house and distributed internally resulting in no additional cost to the firm.

For Hindus, Diwali, recognized as the festival of lights and marks the start of the New Year. On this day divas are lit in the home, colorful motifs are painted on floors in India, new clothes are worn and sweets and snacks are shared with family and friends. With Diwali greeting cards being a rarity to find in the US I decided to create my own to send to family and friends.

Invitation for Kelli and Sam’s wedding was inspired by summer and the bright colors from the couple’s wedding palette. The invitation suite included a main invitation, a reply card and envelope and custom designed map and directional card, all of which were held together in a gatefold vellum stock and grossgrain ribbon. A thank you card and envelope with similar graphics was also designed.

For our wedding celebration, I designed a stationary suite adorned with an Indian motif inspired by traditional Indian art forms. Hindu weddings tend to have several events, we had six over three days. Some of the events were specific for the Groom’s side and the Bride’s side. As a result, all pieces to the invitation had to be customized. The stationary suite took on a cream and deep red palette to reflect our traditional wedding clothes.
