The US Legal Assistant Program brochure communicates the life of a Legal Assistant at Shearman & Sterling and the benefits and opportunities the firm provides. For the redesign, the firm needed the brochure to be a little more exciting than in the past while appealing to their younger audience.
In order to veer away from cliche and less meaningful stock imagery, informal interviews were conducted with a handful of the firm’s legal assistants, at which time, snapshots were taken for inclusion in the brochure. The photos complimented the quotes – but most importantly substantive content and visuals worked together to communicate what it’s like to be a Legal Assistant at the firm.
The brochure, which is distributed in career offices on college campuses keeps to the scale and format of the firm’s other recruiting brochures and fits into the their goal of a growing Legal Assistant Program.
